Dobrez Jr., John F. age 81, longtime Flossmoor resident passed away Tuesday, May 18th, 2010 at his home with his loving family at his side. 1946 Tilden Tech graduate and U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Owner and longtime President of Dober Chemical Co., which he had founded in 1957. Husband for 59 years of Joan (nee Sloup), father of Kathleen (Thomas) Blakemore, Richard (Debra), John G. (Tammy), Thomas (Edith), Daniel (Amy), David "Scott" (Deborah), and Christopher Dobrez, grandfather of Jennifer, Thomas, Christopher, Michael, Megan, Adam, Nathan, John, Matthew, Nicholas, Rebecca, Caroline, Thomas, Ryan, Brianna, Theodore, Catherine, and Amanda, son of the late Mary (nee Popovich) and John F. Dobrez Sr., brother of Veronica "Dolly" Sirus, Donald, James and the late Thomas and Richard Dobrez, beloved uncle and dear friend of many.

Kendall Allen Tapley, August 21st, 2010, age 15. Late of Homewood. Beloved son of Terrence A. Jr. and Angie L. Tapley; dear brother of Bryan Alexander and Anya Marie Tapley; cherished grandson of Terrence A. Sr. and Marsha McDaniel Tapley, and Ann Marie Stuart and Fred Dobrinski; great grandson of Charles and Lillian Tapley; loving nephew of Michael Tapley and Sara Dobrinski and a loved friend to many. Sophomore Honor Student at Homewood Flossmoor High School and member of the Freshman Football and Baseball teams.

Jarrett Rowe- Former Player, Flossmoor Baseball
Jarrett Xavier Rowe, September 22nd, 2010, age 17. Jarrett was known among his family as “Jaybird”, and was born August 17th, 1993 to parents Hopeton O. Rowe, Sr. and Raye A. Grimes Rowe. Jarrett went on to attend Brother Rice High School where he was completing his senior year and due to graduate in June 2011. Jarrett excelled in many sports through his school years and received many awards. He volunteered at “Love to Serve Tennis Club” where he was an instructor as well as a participant. Jarrett loved life, music, dancing, performing, learning and being with his friends just hanging out. In Jarrett’s short 17 years, he gained friends wherever he went and loved each day to the fullest, never being afraid to try and explore new things. He was treasured by family and friends for his captivating smile, outgoing personality, good humor, generosity and love for entertaining. He leaves many who love him with cherished memories; mother, Raye A. Grimes-Rowe; father Hopeton O. Rowe, Sr.; brother, Hopeton O. Rowe, Jr.; sister, Simone Imani Rowe; maternal grandparents, Ray and Louise Grimes; paternal grandmother, Mavis Rowe; and his countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
